Asbestos is a known carcinogen and human exposure can cause asbestos-related diseases, including lung cancer, mesothelioma and asbestosis. Studies estimate that during the next decade, 100,000 workers in all parts of the world will die from asbestos-related disease - the equivalent of 30 deaths a day.

ADAO will hold the Sixth Annual International Asbestos Conference April 10, 2010 in Chicago, Illinois.
